Total Mayhem Games has announced that the first three games in the We Were Here series is coming to Nintendo Switch later this year. We Were Here, We Were Here Too, and We Were Here Together will bring their asymmetric co-op puzzles to Nintendo platforms for the first time via the Nintendo eShop.
All three games will be backwards compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2, meaning explorers can play on both of the Nintendo platforms. It was also announced that cross-platform support is in development for all three of the games.
In the We Were Here Series, players take on the role of Antarctic Explorers who get caught up in a mystery revolving around the realm of Castle Rock. Players are separated from each other most of the time, and will have to work together and communicate clearly in order to solve the asymmetric puzzles that give each Explorer different information. Two devices, two players, one Nintendo Switch. A Nintendo Switch Online Membership and a headset with microphone (or a different way to communicate with your partner) will be required to play the We Were Here Series on Nintendo Switch.
Thomas Huster, Operations Director at Total Mayhem Games, can’t wait for the series to launch on Nintendo Switch™. “We’re very excited to welcome players on Nintendo Switch™ to the We Were Here series! At Total Mayhem Games, we strive to have friends, family and new relations connect through our games — no matter the platform. Nintendo’s take on fun and togetherness aligns perfectly with our vision.’’
