Previously a Nintendo Switch exclusive, colony sim Hungry Meem is making its way to Steam this month. Unlock unknown areas, rebuild settlements beneath the World Tree and raise adorable Meems in this whimsical and wholesome colony simulator.
Hungry Meem tasks players to explore a weird and wacky world, create silly and bizarre creatures and strive to prevent the adorable little Meems’ extinction. A demo is also available on Steam to get a first glance at the game.
Hungry Meem is not your typical colony simulator – it combines non-linear exploration, breeding mechanics and generational evolution, allowing your Meems adapt, grow and change as they uncover the many mysteries of their own world.
The weird and wonderful Meems reside beneath the ginormous World Tree, living their hungry, happy lives. However, their lives are not as perfect as it may seem: the Meems are fighting back against the threat of total extermination after their once-great society fell to the ground. Now, it’s up to the player to bring back their spark and help them flourish once more.
Grow Meems’ settlements, gather essential resources and prepare epic, grand feasts…because nothing says survival like stuffing your face.
Hungry Meem is a heart-warming yet crazy mishmash of settlement building, breeding and 2D exploration. Your lovable and delightful Meems evolve with new skills, traits and appearances through the breeding mechanics and fruitful exploration. Players are tasked with assisting the Meems with nurturing the World Tree, expanding and improving their home and rediscovering their lost civilization.
The full game is available now on Nintendo Switch, the demo is available on Steam and the full PC launch on Steam will be on July 31st.
