The skate. team at EA has given us our biggest look yet at the city of San Vansterdam.
Covered in the The Grind: Vol 4, the latest developer blog, we get an in-depth look at the map and the four neighbourhoods that make it up.
You and your pals will be skating and shredding across the following areas:
- Hedgemont: Your starting area where you’ll learn the basics that’ll carry you through to becoming a skating legend
- House of Rolling Reverence: Located in the heart of Gullcrest Village, the once holy gathering place has been turned into a communal place of shredding thanks to the San Van City Council
- Market Mile: Located on the beautiful coast of San Van, Market Mile is the home for towering building and a skateboard that’s ready for some throwdowns
- Brickswitch: A gnarly vertical neighbourhood full of kickers, quarter pipes and empty rooftop pools just waiting to be skated in
We also get a (very) small update on the soundtrack: details of the official soundtrack will be shared next month. Any fan of extreme sports video games knows just how important the soundtrack is so it’ll be great to see what tracks we’ll be grinding and flipping to.
