Developer Manticore has released a new gameplay trailer for upcoming co-op roguelike Out of Time, which is set to launch this Winter.
The team says that “Whether you’re swinging a medieval sword, blasting cyberpunk plasma cannons, or riding prehistoric mounts into the sunset, Out of Time is here to break every rule — including the calendar”, adding: “The Shattering has fused all eras into one giant mess, and your mission – should you accept it – is to dive in, gear up from millions of possible load outs, and survive a gauntlet of dragons, killer robots, mutant crabs, and other things your therapist will hear about later.”

Out of Time is a fast-paced, multi-player co-op roguelike where your squad, gear, and teamwork decide survival. Battle through a fractured world where past, present, and future collide – facing swarms of corrupted enemies, brutal bosses, and chaotic mini-games all before time runs out.
Here’s the list of key features:
- Gear-Defined Chaos: Build your playstyle around dozens of unique weapons and gear sets, each unlocking totally unique abilities and mini-games. Combine DPS firepower, supportive heals and buffs, or a healthy dose of Tank to create your own playstyle.
- Tethered Teamwork: Stay close or suffer the consequences. The Tether System rewards proximity with shared buffs, healing, and stats – but break away and you risk not only yourself, but your entire team. Collaboration isn’t optional – it’s the core of survival.
- Take on the Timelines: Battle through collapsing eras where past, present, and future collide. Each run is wildly different thanks to dynamic, era-blending maps, escalating enemies, and absurd emergent events.

Out of Time is coming to PC via Epic Games Store on September 25th.
