EA has today launched its second season of content for EA Sports F1 25, featuring new challenges and rewards inspired by real world events. Updated Driver Ratings have also been released. The goal is to release multiple seasons throughout the year, and this latest one includes two of the most talked-about Sprint events involving Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Antonelli.
Season 2 invites players to relive two of the most talked-about Sprint moments — Lewis Hamilton’s first win in Ferrari red at the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix and Kimi Antonelli’s disrupted pole effort in Miami — giving fans the chance to revisit or rewrite the outcome in these Scenario Events. The fan-favourite Elimination mode also returns for a limited time, now featuring F1 cars. With the last-place driver knocked out every 25 seconds, this multiplayer mode is a relentless test of speed and survival. Weekly rewards will be awarded to those who can outpace the competition.
The first Driver Ratings update arrives alongside the EA Sports F1 25 second season. This will go live on July 24 and considers recent performances, real-world data, and insights from a panel of experts. Players can check out the full Driver Ratings here.
“We’re thrilled at how F1 25 has been received by players and excited to build on that momentum with a Season that deepens their connection to the sport,” said Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director at Codemasters. “Our goal for Season 2 has been to capture the unpredictable nature of the 2025 Championship — from the most sweeping Driver Ratings update yet, to empowering fans to shape their own stories on the grid.”
Finally, to celebrate McLaren’s 1-2 victory at their home Grand Prix, everyone who logs into EA Sports F1 25 between July 30 and September 16 will receive the special McLaren x Google Chrome Livery via in-game mail.
