Konami has announced the release date for eFootball Kick-Off!, a new Switch 2 exclusive title, and it’s coming this Summer. The date, then, is June 3rd, where it’ll be a digital download timed to come out just ahead of the World Cup. Specifically, it’ll be available at 3pm UTC.
Interestingly, unlike the free to play eFootball currently available on PC, Xbox, and PS5, eFootball Kick-Off! will be a one-time purchase of £15.99. Konami says: “Enjoyable for both PES fans and those new to football games, an early purchase bonus of the digital download version includes the legendary Lionel Messi as a playable player for “World Tour” mode”, and adds that pre-order dates are coming on the official website later.
Here’s some of the features you’ll find in the game:
- World Tour: Establish your very own club team and compete in tournaments across the globe. Win matches to acquire players from defeated opponents or use Coins earned through play to sign legendary footballers. Build your original team and aim to conquer the world.

- Beginner-Friendly Modes: Jump into fun and accessible experiences such as 6-a-side football, designed to create fast-paced action and plenty of goal-scoring opportunities. The Rank system evaluates performance and allows players to naturally progress as they improve.
- Local & Online Play: Enjoy matches anytime, anywhere, playing solo, challenge friends via local wireless, or test your skills against players worldwide in online competitions.
