Tripwire Interactive has released the launch trailer for Killing Floor 3 ahead of the July 24th global release date, giving players another look at what to expect.
The developer (and publisher) says the new trailer includes “tons of brutal new footage” and mentions you can get one final pre-launch look at “Mr Foster and the Nightfall crew in frenetic zed-slaying action”. There’s plenty of gore on show, new weapons, new maps, and lots and lots of zombies, or zeds as this series refers to them.
The series can be a lot of fun with pals, and Killing Floor 3 will include crossplay between PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X. Anyway, have a look at the trailer, below.
The previous game was released in 2016 and sits on a “very positive” review rating on Steam. As you’d expect there are pre-purchase offers (weapon skins, trinkets, and more), and there are multiple editions of the game available to pre-order, with the higher tier editions getting you access to extra in-game credits, and the nightfall supply pass.
Killing Floor 3 is the next installment in the legendary co-op action/horror FPS series. The year is 2091, 70 years after the events in Killing Floor 2, and megacorp Horzine has produced the ultimate army: an obedient horde of bio-engineered monstrosities called Zeds. Now, the only thing standing between these infernal creations and the future of humanity is the rebel rogue group known as Nightfall. This intense first-person shooter puts players in the role of a Nightfall specialist, joining forces with up to five teammates as they battle through a war-ravaged, dystopian future, surviving unrelenting waves of Zeds, unlocking new skills, and building the ultimate arsenal.
Killing Floor 3 is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC on July 24th.
