NC America officially confirmed today that AION 2, the action-packed, open-world MMORPG, will arrive later this year on Steam and PURPLE platforms.
Featuring flight as a core mechanic, players can fly freely across a world 36 times larger than the original AION, dive underwater, and engage in aerial combat in PvE and PvP gameplay.

The AION 2 global version is built specifically for PC with servers hosted locally in North America, South America, Europe, and Japan. AION 2 will be localized to 10 different languages players can choose from in-game: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

AION 2 offers both deep PvE and intense PvP, built on a foundation of freedom of movement and flight. The game showcases a best-in-class flying experience packed with spectacular aerial combat and environmental traversal. AION 2 features fast-paced combat that blends precision, timing, and positioning with traditional tab-targeting.
AION 2 brings a varied and deep set of PvE content from solo and four-player dungeons to eight-player raids, where the core gameplay experience is about mastering the game mechanics, movement, and teamwork. AION 2 also offers a variety of PvP activities involving high-stakes fights, from 1v1 and 4v4 arenas to massive-scale, cross-server RvR (Realm-vs-Realm) battles, and the return of the faction-based Abyss from the original AION.
AION 2 is due to release this year on Steam.
