New demo out for Mexican Ninja

New gameplay trailer too

Madbricks, in partnership with REDRUM, have unleashed the second demo for Mexican Ninja, alongside a brand-new gameplay trailer.

Mexican Ninja is a fast, loud and over-the-top 2.5D roguelike beat ’em up set in Nuevo Tokyo, where Narcos and Yakuzas fused into the corrupt Narkuzas.

The demo update doubles down on skill expression and flow: a universal parry that lets you deflect anything, a ferocious new panda boss, tighter progression balance, two new Mexican Jutsus, and extra lore to spice up every encounter. Dario Hoyo, Creative Director at Madbricks, said:

“This update is about making every decision feel sharp. Parrying everything raises the ceiling for mastery, the panda boss tests your nerve, and the tweaked rewards keep runs snappy and satisfying.

We want players to feel that rhythm: learn a tell, snap the parry, cash a mini-upgrade, and ride that momentum with a new Jutsu.”

New demo features:

  • Universal Parry: Deflect any attack; perfect timing turns defense into momentum.
  • New Panda Boss: Fresh patterns, big personality, and a serious skill check.
  • Sharper Progression Balance: Targeted buffs/nerfs to temporary rewards for cleaner runs.
  • Mini-Rewards Between Rooms: Small health/damage bumps to keep your flow going.
  • Two New Mexican Jutsus: More build variety and crowd-control swagger.
  • Expanded Lore: More lore and dialogue throughout the demo.

The new demo is out now on Steam. Full game will be coming to PC via Steam in Spring 2026.
