New Exodus info dropped by Archetype Entertainment, wish-listing now open

New key art, a video, and more.
Exodus

The team behind sci-fi adventure Exodus have been releasing information at a slow pace, but it seems it’s full steam ahead now, with a massive drop.

Hype has been slowly building in large part thanks to the pedigree behind the team making Exodus, and also thanks to the world building and lore releases that have made the game seem like it’s coming from a fully fleshed out world. We’ve got new key art (seen at the top of this article), which is also the official box art for the game as well.

There’s also a new founders Q&A video featuring Studio Co-Founder and General Manager Chad Robertson, along with Game Director Chris King. Check out the 11 minute video below, which features information on how stealth works, combat flow, side quests, and combat flow.

There’s been a lot of media released for Exodus, with short stories last year, and back in February of this year. Here’s the opening of one called “Met by Moonlight: A Bond Across Time”:

Life as a Traveler is unique – your world is the stars, and your daily tasks are always changing, depending on where you are headed or what you are hunting. Home and heart become distant echoes. Your pursuit of Remnants, relics, and weaponry that can support the fight for humanity drive your logistics and your livelihood.

Thrilling. Challenging. Invigorating. That’s life as a Traveler. But it’s also isolated. And lonely. Years – or even decades – spent away from friends, family, and home. Each Exodus introduces the risk that you may never return. Who would come looking for you? Who would have any idea of how to find you? A Traveler’s journey is often urgent, to locations unknown.

There’s also been a TTRPG show, and regular founders Q&As, which confirmed that player choice will shape the story including the endings. Above you can also see a brand new screenshot for the game, and it really is looking good, we think.

Lastly as part of this big info drop, wishlists are now open across PlayStation, Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox.
