Fans of demon-slaying and 2D side-scrolling action platformers will want to check out the latest gameplay footage for NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound.
The 14-minute video offers a deeper look at both playable ninjas new to the series, Kenji and Kumori, while they climb walls and slash demons as they make their way through the high rise tower. This level sees them hunted relentlessly by its boss, Rhyvashi, culminating in a suitably flashy showdown. You’ll get a taste for just how precise your timing will need to be to survive her array of attacks.
You’ll also see the upgrade and shop systems. Players can acquire Talismans, passive abilities that support a more defensive playstyle, or Secret Arts, which serve as powerful weapons and active abilities for more aggressive combat strategies.
