Q-Games has announced that both Dreams of Another, and PixelJunk Eden 2 will be released on the same day: October 10th.
Both of the games are directed by Baiyon (multimedia artist), with Dreams of Another coming to PS5, PS VR2, and Steam, while PixelJunk Eden 2 will be on PS4 as well as PS5 and Steam.
There will be a special bundle for the two games on PlayStation Store, bringing the price down for both overall. There’s also a pre-order bonus whereby “players will receive two exclusive pajama designs for The Man in Pajamas as well as early access starting Tuesday October 7th”. On top of that, we also have a new trailer.
Baiyon said: “Dreams of Another is a third-person exploration-action game built around the philosophical theme, “no creation without destruction.” Rather than destroying objects by shooting—as in traditional shooting games—here, your shots materialize and create the world. This unconventional mechanic offers a gameplay experience that challenges the norms of the genre and invites players into a whole new dimension.”
Q-Games is a creator of fantastic games, usually, and the PixelJunk series is especially great, veering across multiple different genres since it started. PixelJunk Shooter is particularly great.
