Studio Folly and Toot Games have together announced a brand new roguelike deck-builder, and it’s called Dogpile.
The premise for Dogpile is fairly simple, explains the publisher: “Play dogs, get money, customize your dogs with special Traits, and refine your deck”. However, if you do want a bit more information, here we go: “Dogpile is a roguelike deck builder about merging cute dogs into bigger dogs. Play dogs, get money, customize your dogs with special Traits, refine your deck, PLAY MORE DOGS! DOGS!”

- DOGLIKE DECKBUILDER: You really shouldn’t adopt a dozen dogs, but now you can! Dogpile gets you to wrangle a cute collection of canines into the perfect deck, customize them, and play them expertly. Manage the clutter, upgrade and improve your cards as you go, and strive for the BIGGEST dogs.
- CUSTOMIZE YOUR DOGS: Like in real life, dogs come with quirks and untapped potential! You’ll discover any variety of weird traits such as Barky, Sleepy, Timid, Cool and more. Take your dogs to the Dog Wash to add even more traits, and find Dog Tags that bolster and benefit from Trait synergy!
- GAME BREAKING COMBOS: Utilize a clever array of powerful Dog Tags to modify how your dogs and their Traits function. Find interesting synergies and unique combos to aid you in all of your merging endeavors. And always remember your ultimate goal: BIGGER!
Animal fans thought they may have to wait until 2026 for a cat-fix with Mewgenics, but it seems that Dogpile is here to give us all the dogs. Yay.
