State of Play February 2025: All the release dates announced

State of Play February 2025 - Borderlands 4

Sony has just aired a State of Play showcase for February 2025, and there was a load of release dates announced, which we’ve collated for you, along with the trailers.

We already have a 2025 game release dates article, which we update regularly with our own reviews, and when new titles get confirmed date-wise, but we thought as we’d be updating that list, we’d best grab together all the announcements from the latest PlayStation State of Play as well. So let’s go.

Borderlands 4 – September 23

This one will be getting a dedicated State of Play which Gearbox says is coming this Spring, as well.

Dave the Diver: Ichiban’s Holiday – April

This is a DLC for Dave the Diver which brings the RGG Studio characters to the game, with new mini-games like Karaoke.

Days Gone Remastered – April 25

The new version of the game will add DualSense features, improved visuals, and audio. Oh you can also upgrade from PS4 and PC for ten dollars.

Directive 8020 – October 2

The next adventure-game horror from Supermassive Games is finally dated. Hurrah!

Five Nights At Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic – June 13

What more needs saying, it wouldn’t be a State of Play without a Five Nights game, right?

Hell Is Us – September 4

The much awaited action-adventure title finally has a date, September 4th.

Lost Soul Aside – May 30

A game that look rather astonishing, visually.

Metal Eden – May 6

A fast-paced FPS, this one looks a lot of fun.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater – August 28

As we predicted (and was leaked), a release date for one of the hottest awaited remakes ever.

MindsEye – Summer

A game we didn’t know a lot about, but coming from one of the minds behind many great GTA-titles.

Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny – May 23

A classic game, from a classic series. Nice!

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance – August 29

We didn’t even know this existed, but it looks amazing.

The Midnight Walk – May 8

Another gorgeous looking game.

Warriors: Abyss – Out now

A surprise shadow-drop from Koei Tecmo, this Warriors title is a roguelike, and it’s out now.

And there we have it. Other titles were shown off, but some were 2026 (like the new game from Returnal developer, Housemarque). These are all coming this year. Amazing, right?
