Developer Coal Supper and publisher Panic have revealed that Thank Goodness You’re Here! is heading to Xbox Series X|S.
Thank Goodness You’re Here! was one of my favourite games of 2024, a trully surreal and absurd jaunt through the town of Barnsworth, packed full of eccentric Northern townsfolk.
Enjoy masterfully-delivered jokes – with voice acting from Matt Berry and Jon Blyth – vibrant hand-drawn animation, and heaps of increasingly odd jobs in this cheeky adventure.
Thank Goodness You’re Here! received seven nominations at the 2025 BAFTA Games Awards, and won the award for Best British Game. It was also nominated for the Seumas McNally Grand Prize at the 2025 IGF Awards and Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction and Story at the 2024 DICE Awards. Your mum still disapproves of it.
- Bold, beautiful visual design that seamlessly blends side-scrolling action vignettes with top-down exploration in a chock-a-block world
- Progressively more involved and puzzling odd-jobs to complete: cut the grass, bake a pie, traverse the astral plane!
- Hand-crafted animation and original story based on traditional Yorkshire folklore
- Authentic regional dialects guaranteed to mek thi spit art thi tea laughin’
- Oddly moving original soundtrack
Thank Goodness You’re Here! arrives on Xbox on December 9th and is part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program.
