Turn-based RPG Mirage: Miracle Quest announced, coming to PC

More turn-based = good!
Mirage: Miracle Quest

Developer Toe Bean Club has announced a new turn-based RPG called Mirage: Miracle Quest, and it’s coming from a veteran team of developers and animators.

The team at Toe Bean Club is made up of people who’ve worked on games at other publishers (Astra Logica, Classics F5), but also folks who’ve worked on animated films (Sony Pictures, Remembers), and the new game Mirage: Miracle Quest has just been announced for PC.

“Set in a retro-inspired, hand-painted world, players will wander around Andafy, a continent shaped by the vibrant cultures and aesthetics of Madagascar, France, and Japan”, explains the team. “They will play as Mirage, a young exorcist whose quiet life is shattered when a mysterious creature ravages her hometown, whispering her grandmother’s name in its final breath. Joined by an endearing cast of allies, Mirage embarks on a perilous quest to embrace her true power and unveil the darkest secrets of the land.”

Mirage: Miracle Quest modernizes the classic turn-based RPG combat with deck-building mechanics, letting players customize their playstyle, create powerful synergies, and approach each battle with fresh strategy.

Players will confront formidable foes and guide tormented spirits to peace, as they explore a world brimming with challenges and wonders. On the way they will build relationships with their allies, and forge their path to becoming a true exorcist, as they fight the dark forces threatening to take over the world!

As a huge fan of turn-based RPGs, I’m excited to see how this mixture of having experienced developers and animators will turn out. There’s no current release date, but the team says that’ll be communicated in due time.  You can check out more via the Steam Page, too.

Mirage: Miracle Quest is coming to PC, with a release date yet to be announced.
