Konami has announced a rather special card game showcase for Yu-Gi-Oh!, as it’ll be happening at the Musée Carnavalet – Histoire de Paris.

The exhibition will allow fans to take a look at the artistry behind the card game that is Yu-Gi-Oh!, as there will be a “curated selection of striking art and visuals, including all five iconic pieces of Exodia the Forbidden One, the Millenium Puzzle, high-resolution artwork, enormous statues, Japanese tapestries, and more”, says Konami.

Admission to the exhibition is free, and it’s open to all ages. Here’s the full details:

Running from Saturday 30 August to Sunday 7 September, the installation coincides with the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025, held in Paris on 29-31 August. Timed to mark the tournament’s return to Europe, the showcase offers fans a rare opportunity to experience the artistic legacy of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game in one of Paris’s most iconic cultural venues – just as the world’s top Duelists gather to compete.

In addition, the first 100 visitors per day have a chance to receive a special Japanese “Ukiyoe” style Blue-Eyes White Dragon print, a unique style inspired by traditional Japanese artwork.

Yu-Gi-Oh

Founded in 1880, Musée Carnavalet – Histoire de Paris is one of Paris’s oldest municipal museums, located in the heart of the Marais district. Set across two adjoining 16th- and 17th-century mansions, the museum is renowned for its vast collection of over 600,000 pieces that chronicle the history of Paris – from antiquity to the present day. Its elegant architecture and immersive programming make it a fitting setting for this one-of-a-kind event.

Location: Musée Carnavalet – Histoire de Paris, 23 Rue de Sévigné, 75003 Paris, France.

More details will be coming soon. Recently, lapsed fan of Yu-Gi-Oh! Lyle got back into the card game, and so excited was he, that he wrote an article about how he managed it. Lyle said: “There are a surprising amount of routes you can take into this hobby nowadays, and from physical routes to digital I tried a whole bunch of them.

I won’t pretend that I’m suddenly a master of all the decks this card game has to offer now, but I can securely say that I understand Yu-Gi-Oh now and won’t stop playing anytime soon. Hopefully this feature will help you get into Yu-Gi-Oh too, whether you’re a lapsed fan or a newcomer.”
