Yogscast Games has revealed the release date Rhell: Warped Worlds and Troubled Times, and it’s going to be an early 2026 title for PC on Steam.
Rhell: Warped Worlds and Troubled Times will be hitting Steam on Thursday, March 19th 2026. Yogscast Games explains: “In this semi-open world game, players play as the titular character Rhell, who sets out on an intriguing journey to return a vanished world to its former glory. Players will solve a series of puzzles as they explore the 14 main areas by casting spells, which alter the outcome of the path as hidden secrets are uncovered.”
“The real beauty of this game is that there are many unexpected emergent moments for players to experience,” says game creator Alice Jarratt from SlugGlove, “With no perfect way to solve puzzles, players will feel a sense of satisfaction in discovering solutions in their own creative way, making gameplay feel more relaxing and engaging.”
Spells are cast using unique combinations made up of “runes” or magical keywords that allow players the flexibility to stretch the boundaries of their imagination. With 40 different runes and keywords, combinations can be made in many ways, to produce over 102 million permutations in total. The level of progression depends on the number of keywords collected and stored, keeping players engaged and curious, as the same puzzle can be solved in multiple ways.
As players begin uncovering the mystery of the vanished world and help bring it back to life, they witness how Rhell’s character evolves based on her interactions with the NPCs met along the way. The freedom to explore, invent, and creatively solve puzzles will give players a sense of connection to both the game’s narrative and Rhell’s journey of discovery.
The team has released an updated demo that will include a new fortnightly challenge, as well, so you can even try it ahead of the March release date.
Rhell: Warped Worlds and Troubled Times is coming to PC via Steam on March 19, 2026.
