Crimson Desert | How to make Palmar Pills

While most of Pywel quivers in the shadow of Kliff’s mighty todger, the bosses in Crimson Desert, by and large, couldn’t give two shits how tough he is, and will repeatedly use his head as a mop. As a disproportionate number also have two or three phases, death will happen. But if you die when you’re close to victory, it can induce a special kind of rage when you have to watch all the cutscenes and complete all the phases from scratch. Unless, of course, you have some Palmar Pills, little orbs that will revive Kliff with 30% (and later 100%) health. Enough to squeeze in a mouthful of steak and keep going. You can find them everywhere, but you’re able to find a recipe to craft them once you unlock Cauldrons. Read on to find out how to make Palmar Pills.

First you need to advance the story to Chapter 5, which means overcoming Kearush, the Slayer, Crimson Desert’s first real difficulty wall. Once you’ve beaten the murderous monkey, you’ll be tasked with heading west and finding a Witch. Once you get to her, you’ll unlock Cauldrons around the world (including a handy one in Hernand City).

Now you have the ability to mix things like Palmar Pills, where’s the recipe?
So you’ll need to head to the cave pictured here just Northwest of Hernand. It’s not immediately visible, as I found it by falling off the cliff above it.

Drop down and head in and you’ll find a witch’s workshop with a cauldron and various reagents scattered about, as well as the recipe for Palmar Pills on the table. Once you’ve learned it, you need 15 Waters (which you can buy easily from the vegetable merchant in Hernand) and 3 of any Herb. There, now you may no longer fear death. I mean, you’ll still die. You just don’t need to fear it.
