It released on PC last year.

Ankama Games and developer Doryah Games has announced the console release of roguelike Savara, which was previously on PC (Steam), released last year in May.

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S version will hit on May 20th, and given it’s competing with the likes of genre superstars like Hades II, it’s impressive that it’s sitting on a high rating on Steam from those who’ve played it already.

From the press release, the team explains Savara: “In Savara, dive into a fascinating world where every decision counts and strategy is key. Invited to take part in grand festivities held in honour of Iop, the warrior god, you’ll face brutal trials designed to test the most valiant fighters in the dimension. Each battle pushes you further, where victory leads to greater challenges and every defeat makes you stronger.”

Arm yourself with powerful weapons, each with its own strengths, and carefully craft your build to survive the chaos. Thrusting or slashing, one-handed or two-handed – choose from 4 styles, 6 variants, and hundreds of possible combinations to unleash your full potential. Gather resources from fallen enemies to upgrade your gear, enhance your abilities, and earn divine favour. Prove your worth in relentless combat, and rise through the ranks to claim glory as one of the greatest warriors in this dangerous and vibrant world.

Seek out glory by showing your bravery and skill in this festival of fighting. Each skirmish is an opportunity to prove that you are worthy of the god Iop’s attention and blessing. Immerse yourself in this vibrant world teeming with danger and emerge victorious, celebrated as one of the greatest warriors in this unique dimension.

Savara is out now on PC (Steam), and coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on May 19th.
