Saber Interactive and developer stillalive studios have released Bus Bound’s second major DLC, the “Hidden Gems Tour” today, and it’s available separately or as part of the (cleverly named) “Bus Pass”.
The “Hidden Gems Tour” DLC gives players a new game mode called Sightseeing that’s all about showcasing the hidden gems and local history of this town you call home. Respond to requests from hotels, train stations and airports to ferry guests around a Sightseeing tour. As you build trust with locals in your everyday line service, they’ll share the must-see sights and attractions only locals know about. Use this knowledge to make your sightseeing tours unforgettable!
Sightseeing fundamentally changes your interactions with passengers. Ditch the GPS and embrace the free-flowing nature of navigating the city based on your passengers’ energy level. Maintain their enthusiasm by impressing them with the sights and sounds of local culture. Every ride is a new layer of the city waiting to be uncovered.

Owners of Bus Bound’s Deluxe Edition or the Bus Pass can download this new DLC today, with one additional major DLC still to come later this year. The “Hidden Gems Tour” DLC is also available as a standalone purchase for 6.99 USD/EUR.
A free update is also available today for all Bus Bound players, expanding the game map to the Outskirts of the city with two additional buses and three new zones.
As the site’s resident sim fan, I’ve already spent some time in the new update and the new areas it adds really do open up the map and help make Emberville feel even more realistic.
