Playstack and Cold Symmetry today released a free update for Mortal Shell II, bringing new content, features and seasonal surprises to the dark fantasy action RPG.
Available now, the Rotten Autumn update gives players fresh reasons to venture back into the crumbling world of Mortal Shell II, with 15 new dungeons to explore, 10 new Tarstones to discover, and new Shell Shades for every Shell. An alternative soundtrack by Rotting Christ’s Sakis Tolis brings a new sound to the journey, while Photo Mode lets players capture its beauty and brutality.
There are seasonal treats lurking in the update, too. Players can don the Harbinger Pumpkin Helmet, strike a different chord with the Impervious Lute skin and additional lute tracks, and seek out the ghost of a lost Shell offering cryptic notes to those who cross its path.
