Evening, everyone.
Back again after another slight hiatus. These probably won’t be every week for a while but I’ll try and check in twice a month to find some decent bargains for your hard-earned pennies.
It’s a mixed bag this week but after a slightly longer session of sifting through sales I was able to find a handful for each platform that are worth a look.
So, we’ve got…
Nintendo
Starting with Nintendo’s handheld hybrid, there’s some decent options this week. While our Tales of Arise review wasn’t necessarily a 10/10, you may find it’s worth a punt at this price. I myself am tempted by Jedi Power Battles, which I have fond memories of and while I usually avoid old games, for seven quid this might be a buy.
- Tales of ARISE – Beyond the Dawn Edition – £22.49 (50% off)
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered – £39.99 (20% off)
- Clock Tower: Rewind – £7.19 (60% off)
- Harmony: The Fall of Reverie – £4.49 (80% off)
- Star Wars: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles – £6.73 (60% off)
Playstation
Shadow of the Colossus is the obvious standout here. Less than £4 for a great remake of one of the most iconic games in Playstation history is a steal. While I’ve not played Visage or Luto I know they’re both meant to be pant-shittingly scary, so might be worth a buy if you’re after a Halloween scare.
- Days Gone Remastered – £17.99 (60% off)
- Shadow of the Colossus – £3.59 (88% off)
- Demon’s Souls Digital Deluxe Edition – £29.69 (67% off)
- Visage – £14.49 (50% off)
- Luto – £9.59 (80% off)
XBOX
Fairly slim pickings on XBOX this week. That said, the upgraded Mafia III for a fiver is great value, as is both Middle Earth games for £6 so definitely jump on those if you’re after an open world bargain.
- Doom Eternal – £8.82 (67% off)
- Mafia III: Definitive Edition – £4.99 (80% off)
- Middle-earth: The Shadow Bundle – £5.99 (90% off)
- Directive 8020 – £26.79 (33% off)
- Gothic 1 Remake – £37.49 (25% off)
Steam
I don’t know what Hell Pie is but I know Lyle liked it, so for £1.19 it’s got to be worth a go, right? The Forgotten City is a fantastic game too and well worth that price, while RPG lovers will get a whole lot of game from Pathfinder.
- Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – Game of the Year Edition – £8.59 (80% off)
- Hell Pie – £1.19 (94% off)
- Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 – £13.74 (75% off)
- Observer: System Redux – £19.56 (44% off)
- The Forgotten City – £4.19 (80% off)
That’s your lot, not a bad week in my humble opinion. Join our Discord and let me know what you’re picking up, or if there are any real bargains I’ve missed!
