Square Enix announced today the upcoming start of the second Closed Beta Test for its multiplayer murder mystery action game, Killer Inn.
Players can sign up to participate in a Steam playtest, which will run from Friday, Oct. 3, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. PDT / 6:00 p.m. EDT until Monday, Oct. 13, 2025 at 2:59 p.m. PDT / 5:59 p.m. EDT. If you played the first closed beta test then you’ll automatically have access to this latest one.

So, what is Killer Inn? It’s a murder mystery action game, fought between the minority team of wolves and the majority team of lambs. Set in a mysterious old castle, 24 players engage in a life-or-death battle of deception. Wolves must disguise themselves amongst the lambs, taking them down one by one. The lambs collect clues (hair, fingerprints, clothing, etc.) left behind at the murder scenes to narrow down the wolves and eliminate them. Think The Traitors but bloodier.
