Developer Byte Barrel and Fulqrum Publishing have together announced that Forgive Me Father 2 is out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S today.
Originally released last year (in October) for PC, it was in early access for a bit before it finally hit the 1.0 release on PC. The team describes the game as follows; “The critically acclaimed Lovecraftian shooter sees players taken on Eldritch horrors in a gorgeous cell-shaded world. Console players can now dive into a world of guns, gore and plenty of tentacles as they take down ghoulish enemies in a world ruled by cosmic terrors.”
There are a lot of games in the genre, but Forgive Me Father 2 is a standout, for sure. Check out the trailer below which shows off the lovely art style.
The PC version will be discounted as part of Boomstock 2025 (an annual event for fans of boomer shooters), and while it’s coming to Xbox and PlayStation today, there is also a Switch version “coming later”.
