EA and DICE have together revealed some of the features that will be coming to Battlefield 6 on PC, with the team offering “600+ customisation options”.
A lot of this can be seen in the new PC Brief trailer, which we’ve dropped below, but some of the headlines are the fact it’ll have 4K visuals with an uncapped frame-rate. EA says this will make Battlefield 6 “one of the most fluid, high performance First-Person Shooter experiences available.”
Of the 600+ customisation options on PC, there will be extensive options for the graphical and performance settings, including:
- HDR
- HUD, HUD Scaling, HUD Icons & Crosshair
- Camera Settings
- Controllers, Controller Schemes, Input devices, Haptics
- Streamer mode & Incognito mode
We’ve also got the PC specs, which you can see below:
EA adds that there will be Ultrawide Monitor Support (“Catch every enemy flank with a full view of the battlefield, now with Ultrawide monitor support”), along with Javelin Anticheat.
On that note, the publisher explains: “Javelin has been built from the ground up by a team of veteran engineers and analysts focused on studying cheating problems for each specific game under EA’s umbrella and designing unique features to solve those issues. Javelin is already part of other Battlefield titles, including Battlefield Labs, and will be integrated in Battlefield 6 when the game launches.”
Elsewhere, Battlefield 6 will support NVIDIA DLSS 4, Intel XeSS 2, as well as AMD FSR 4. Via the official blog post, the team says: “With the launch of the official PC system requirements, Nvidia confirms Battlefield 6 will launch with support for DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, DLAA, and NVIDIA Reflex. Using these technologies, all GeForce RTX gamers can accelerate and enhance their experience, making gameplay smoother and more responsive.”
Battlefield 6 is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC on October 10th.
