Kojima Productions has announced the lead role in PHYSINT will be played by Bill Skarsgård, and also revealed a posted featuring him, along with Charlee Fraser.
“I’m delighted to confirm the lead role for PHYSINT will be Bill Skarsgård,” said Hideo Kojima. “We are both long-time fans of each other’s work, and we’ve decided to embark on this new adventure together. The costume fittings, scans, and camera tests we conducted with Bill and Charlee earlier this year gave me tremendous confidence in the direction of the project.”
Obviously PHYSINT has been in the news recently as it was previously being made in partnership with Sony, but that has now moved to XBOX. On that note, the team says: “Both companies are already collaborating successfully on OD – KNOCK and adding PHYSINT further strengthens their relationship and shared commitment to building great games together. Both KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS and XBOX are excited about this collaboration and are looking forward to bringing PHYSINT to players worldwide.”
“Creators have choices about where and how they bring their ideas to life. We’re honored that Kojima-san has chosen XBOX to work with KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS on PHYSINT. His ambition to challenge conventions reflects the kind of creativity we want to support at XBOX,” said Asha Sharma, XBOX CEO.
“This expands our relationship with XBOX beyond OD. As we move forward with the development of PHYSINT, we remain committed to redefining the action-espionage genre for players around the world,” said Hideo Kojima, Game Creator and Founder of KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS.
The other game that Kojima Productions is working on currently is OD, which is also a game the developer has partnered with XBOX for.
