Behaviour Interactive has revealed plenty of details about Dead by Daylight x Stranger Things Chapter 2. Vecna will be joining the healthy roster of killers, while Dustin Henderson and Eleven will become the newest survivors to take part in The Entity’s trials. There are also two new Legendary Outfits which expands the cast even more. Eddie Munson will be a Dustin skin, while Robyn Buckley will be a skin for Nancy.
The latest PTB started yesterday, and the gameplay for Vecna aka ‘The First’ shows a deadly killer. He can summon vines from the ground to injure survivors. There’s also an ability where he enters the upside down and stalks in silence before re-emerging with a big AoE attack. There’s so much more to The First, including one of the coolest Moris to date; survivors levitate and bones snap, reminiscent of poor Max and Chrissy (wake up!).
Along with Vecna, Dustin and Eleven become new survivors. They are wearing familiar outfits from the final season. This adds the total number of Stranger Things characters in Dead By Daylight to eight: Nancy Wheeler, Steve Harrington, Jonathan Byers, Dustin Henderson, Jane ‘Eleven’ Hopper, Eddie Munson, Robyn Buckley, and Vecna.
The gameplay looks wild, and seeing all these characters together is awesome. Visually, the characters look faithful to the show. Nancy is going to be getting a facial rework when Dead By Daylight x Stranger Things Chapter 2 releases at the end of the month. Finally, all of the original survivors will be able to get a Hellfire Club baseball shirt. If you’re like us and you’re not ready to say goodbye, this is the perfect reason to cling to one of the most successful shows of all time.
