Curve Games and Microbird Games have released a new trailer ahead of the PS5 launch of Dungeons of Hinterberg, coming on March 13th.
Released last year for PC and Xbox consoles, the title is making its debut on PlayStation this week (Thursday), along with “a new bonus episode”. The launch trailer (below) includes the song “Just Stay For Once” by Imani Graham. Check it out.
The key features for the PS5 version are as follows:
- All previously released content updates including a New Game Plus mode
- 25+ dungeons, featuring combat, puzzles and boss fights
- 20+ enemies and numerous bosses
- 4 visually distinct biomes with 5-7 dungeons each
- 10+ unique locations to hang out in Hinterberg
- 20+ locals and residents to interact with and forge relationships
- A new, secret bonus episode – you’ll play as a new character introduced in the game in a prequel to the main story, with a series of new dungeons to explore
Dungeons of Hinterberg sees you play as Luisa, a lawyer burnt out with the hustle and bustle of city life looking for a relaxing adventure in the Alps. She finds that adventure in Hinterberg – a small alpine town that has mysteriously become host to a madcap collection of dungeons, inhabited by fearsome monsters in need of slaying. And who better to slay them than tourists, looking for a break from the mundane in a snowy wonderland!
Explore different biomes, solve puzzles, slay huge bosses – then have a Schnitzel with the locals and other slayers from around the globe to unlock the game’s relationship system. Building deep relationships can unlock special abilities and gameplay systems or give players key items, helping them find their way through a daunting dungeon.
Dungeons of Hinterberg is out now for PC and Xbox, and comes to PlayStation 5 on March 13th.
