NCSOFT has revealed a brand new MMORPG in the Horizon universe called Horizon Steel Frontiers, and it’s coming to PC and mobile devices.
While it’s not yet been confirmed, given the mobile nature it is quite likely the game will be a free-to-play experience, but NCSOFT says that “further details about Horizon Steel Frontiers will be gradually revealed through the official website“, though does reveal that “The game will be cross platform for mobile and PC (PURPLE, NCSOFT’s proprietary game platform).”
The news was revealed at the G-Star 2025 conference, and the team says that Horizon Steel Frontiers is being developed “in collaboration with Guerrilla (Horizon, Killzone), a studio under Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE)”, adding that “Horizon Steel Frontiers is an MMORPG based on the acclaimed Horizon universe.”
