Arc Games and developer Heart Machine have together released a roadmap for Hyper Light Breaker, with the first update just under a week away.
That first update is coming on February 18th, and will add a new Breaker (player character), new Holobytes, and some gameplay improvements, says the team.
The team says: “After much anticipation from the community, the first Hyper Light Breaker Early Access Roadmap has been revealed! The Spring Edition roadmap shared today reveals content updates to come this month through April — with April bringing a major content update “Buried Below” — and hints at what players can expect in Early Access. The first monthly content update for Hyper Light Breaker in Early Access will be released next Tuesday, February 18 (see details below). The next roadmap, the “Summer Edition,” highlighting updates for May to July will be shared in May.”
The new Hyper Light Breaker character: Ravona
The first monthly content update for Hyper Light Breaker in Early Access is set to launch on Tuesday, February 18! This first content update will bring a new playable Breaker, Ravona, previously codenamed “Crow”, new SyComs for the new Breaker, new enemies including a new Elite enemy, new Holobytes like “Hunter’s Mark,” new Affixes, along with performance updates, a combat and gear rebalance including increasing the rate of rare gear drops in the Overgrowth, quality of life improvements like slowing the pacing of the Danger Meter (decreasing difficulty as a result) and bug fixes. The new Breaker, Ravona, has been highly-requested and anticipated character by the Heart Machine community – with the community requesting to see gameplay of the character daily — ever since the Breaker was first shown in the Gameplay Reveal Trailer last year. The Heart Machine team is thrilled for players to try this new Breaker.
Heart Machine adds that: “During the Early Access period, players can expect to see a continual stream of three types of updates: Hotfixes, Monthly Updates, Major Content Updates. These updates will include new content and features such as Breakers, Crowns, gear, story content, secrets, and more, along with gameplay improvements made via updates. ”
Hyper Light Breaker is out now via Steam early access on PC.
