SEGA has released a new trailer showing off customisation options in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and given us some more details on the Nintendo Switch 2 version. Check out the Customisation & Gadgets trailer below:
The latest racing game in the Sonic series features:
- 40+ vehicles
- 70+ gadgets
- 100+ vehicle parts and decals
…so plenty to get your teeth into. You can mix and match everything mentioned above to make a vehicle that moves fast enough to have you questioning if Sonic himself is even that fast after all.
We’ve also had a breakdown of Nintendo Switch versions and upgrades:
- Nintendo Switch 1 – £54.99 (available for pre-order now)
- Nintendo Switch 2 – £64.99 for standard / £79.99 for digital deluxe (both available at a later date)
There’s also an Upgrade Pack from the Switch 1 version to Switch 2 and progress will indeed carry over. The Nintendo Switch 2 system version will launch digitally this holiday 2025 and physically early 2026.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is releasing on PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch 1 and 2.
