PGA TOUR 2K25 hits Nintendo Switch 2 today

Hopefully it's a hole in one.

The support from third-party publishers for Nintendo Switch 2 is growing seemingly week on week, with 2K announcing that PGA TOUR 2K25 is out today for the system.

It definitely seems Nintendo don’t have a “first-party” machine on its hands this time around, so that albatross around it’s neck seems to be gone. Sorry, couldn’t help that one. With WWE 2K25 being excellent on Switch 2, fingers crossed that PGA TOUR 2K25 is also a great version.

2K says: “Supporting the full set of PGA TOUR 2K25 game modes and features, including the deep MyCAREER mode, cross-platform online Societies, Course Designer, and more, The Nintendo Switch 2 also offers the ability to play offline modes on-the-go, and online modes with internet connection.

With new gameplay mechanics such as EvoSwing and Perfect Swing, 11 playable pros, 29 licensed courses, and more, PGA TOUR 2K25 delivers its most comprehensive and accessible golf experience yet.”

There are two premium editions for Switch 2, just as there was with the other editions of the game: PGA TOUR 2K25 Legend Edition year 2, and PGA TOUR 2K25 Pro Edition. Both offer a variety of bonuses to unlock within the title.

In our review of the PS5 version when it first launched, we said: “PGA Tour 2K25 is a fine game of golf. It looks and sounds lovely, it has an intuitive and fun control system, and can be tricksy and nuanced or as hardcore as you want it to be. Just go in and do it how you feel most comfortable and you will have fun either way. It understands what a video game should be whilst also being reverential and respectful to the sport and its fans, and you will find layers of hidden depth not just in the supreme physics engine and on-course gameplay but in what the game throws at you in terms of content and surprises. Well played, 2K.”

PGA TOUR 2K25 is out now for PC, PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2.
