Season 2 of PGA Tour 2K25 has launched, offering players an all-new legendary course, new Challenges game mode, and plenty of unlockable Clubhouse Pass content. The focus of Season 2 is on the three in-game Major Championships taking place in the summer, with plenty of themed challenges around the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club, the 125th U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club, and The 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush Golf Club releasing as the season unfolds.
Here’s a breakdown of everything coming to PGA Tour 2K25 Season 2:
- The Old Course at St Andrews Links “The Home of Golf” course available for the first time in the franchise.
- Featured Archetype is the Greenskeeper: compete specific seasonal quests tailored to this playstyle to earn rewards. Once over 85 OVR, the “Green Reader” skill unlocks. This highlights slope severity much clearer.
- Challenges game mode offers bite-sized challenges with set parameters, with reward on offer for completion.
- New 3-Hole course developed by HB Studios in partnership with Charles Schwab. It launches on May 21, a day before the pros tee off at the Charles Schwab Challenge. 11 exclusive in-game apparel rewards are on offer to unlock.
- New Clubhouse Pass: includes free reward tiers including a Cobra White Snapback, Malbon Shorts, and a Ruby Titliest T100 Iron. Players who reach Free Tier 25 will earn “The Long Flop” shot type which features a high trajectory, plenty of spin, and a short run. Clubhouse Pass Premium owners have the opportunity to unlock Greenskeeper Hard Hat, Greenskeeper Boots, and a Ruby Limited Edition Club: The Titleist Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.5 Putter. Not only that, Premium owners get additional stat boosts for The Long Shot.
