The summer is nearly upon us, and SEGA are giving away plenty of free content in Two Point Museum, including the MIA Exhibits & Items Update available now. The newest update gives players a chance to pay tribute to museum staff members who are no longer with them, whether through disappearing while out completing quests or due to a disregard for County employment laws. Either way, players will receive a memorial item to acknowledge their contribution to the museum,
From a humble plaque to a gigantic statue, these MIA Memorial Exhibits are engraved with your staff member’s name, years of service and where they went MIA. Guests can admire these items as they would traditional exhibits, so depending on your levels of creativity and care you could create anything from a touching memorial garden to truly honour their memory… or shove the memorial exhibits in an unused corner.
The MIA Exhibits & Items Update will allow exhibits to appear across a set number of exhibitions. It ensures players won’t be repeating the same ones over and over again. It will be trialed on eight Points of Interest including Cold Mines and Downtown Wetlantis. If curators enjoy the changes, they’ll feature later across further POIs. There’s also Gift Shop and Cafeteria poster wall items; six new staff traits; increased staff XP; a workshop ability to create multiple cargo items; and smaller tweaks such as thieves carrying a bag on their back after stealing goods and a new footprint visualisation.
There’s a lot more coming as free content to Two Point Museum after the MIA Exhibits & Items update. A new Point of Interest called Sunkiss Creek is being added to the Bone Belt. With it comes three new fish exhibits: Setsail Fish, Lolliflopper Fish, and Cunning Skink. There’re new decorative items; ice cream kiosk; information stand; wallpapers; floors; and a new staff costume. At the end of June, an Arctic-themed finale set in the Pointy Mountains is arriving. This free content will push players to the limit, testing their skills to deal with new challenges working with the local Yeti population.
