We finally have a date, people! During today’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced that the Nintendo Switch will launch on June 5, 2025 across the world. The Direct showcased plenty of information regarding the Nintendo Switch, but none of it matters unless we know when we get to play it. Thankfully, two months is no time to wait at all. Plenty of features for the Nintendo Switch have been announced. Not only that, we saw more of Mario Kart World, and other titles set to get updated versions.
The two Zelda titles are getting new features involving smart phone voice navigation, and the ability to share QR codes with other players to bring their creations into your world. Elden Ring is coming, as is Hades 2, and plenty of other games. You can read all about them via the link at the bottom of the page. As this is published, there’re still a host of features being announced. However, we wanted to get that release date out for you.
Other details revealed today gave players an idea of what the C button is going to do. There’s Game Share which allows players to share the same game, new accessories, and oh, did we mention all of the games coming at launch? Hitman: World of Assassination, Hazelight’s Split Fiction, and James Bond FFS!!
Whatever you’re after from today’s announcements, there are so many things to come for Nintendo that we can’t help but be excited. From new games to the wealth of cool features coming to the console, there’s plenty to look forward to. Again, the release date is June 5, 2025. Every other bit of information can be found below.
