Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025 Celebrate New Champions

Winners crowned, teasers revealed and a surprise message from Emmanuel Macron! 

Konami has announced the winners of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship (WCS) 2025, which concluded on Sunday, August 31, at Maison de la Mutualité in Paris, France.

In a surprise twist, President of France, Emmanuel Macron, kicked off Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025 opening ceremony with a thoughtful message to Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game fans.

Returning to Europe for the first time in several years, the tournament crowned new World Champions across four categories.

  • In the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (TCG) tournament, French-American Duelist Julien Kehon triumphed over Tom Kleinegraeber from Germany to claim the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG World Champion 2025 title.
  • In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links, both the Speed Duel and Rush Duel finals delivered fierce matchups. Philipp Thomas from Germany won the Speed Duel trophy, while Kenya Nagatani from Japan emerged victorious in RUSH DUEL
  • The Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel final saw Ragnarok defeat Chaiba Corp in a 3v3 showdown, with Italy’s Antonio ‘N3sh’ Papa, Sweden’s Herman ‘Mist’ Hansson, and Croatia’s Luka Forjan becoming the 2025 Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel World Champions.

A teaser trailer aired during the WCS 2025 livestream revealed that the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2026 will be held in Tokyo, Japan.

Trailers were also shown for a new eFootball collab and a streetwear label.
