Trickjump Games has announced the date that space-station factory builder Outworld Station will be leaving early access, and it’s May.
The developer is the same team that made ArcRunner back in 2023, but Outworld Station seems a very different game. A new trailer has been released as well, which showcases the new additions coming to Outworld Station with that 1.0 update, when it hits on May 5th.
Here’s the key features for that 1.0 update:
- Prepare. The Void Is Here: The ultra-massive cosmic entity known only as The Void has arrived. Complete and launch your Intergalactic Arkship and escape this doomed galaxy before everything is lost.
- A Finely-Tuned Machine: Access to new tech, materials, and station modules are available and will be needed to create the new Space Elevator. Convert unwanted materials into valuable resources and become the ultimate space recycler.
- Massive New Ships: Constructing the huge new Battlecruiser and Fleet Supply classes of ships will take all of your manufacturing prowess.
- Zip, Zap, Zoom: Use the Teleporter Pad to fast travel between remote parts of your stations.
- Achievement Unlocked: Complete a range of fun challenges that will test your station-building skills.
Welcome aboard, Station Commander! In the TAU System, build and manage supply chains as you automate resources, while constructing your own intricate infrastructure in deep space.
Harness the power of antimatter and turn space debris into resources by atomising asteroids, deploying high-altitude cloud-miners, and creating your very own automated space-based factory complex.
Put your mark across the mysterious TAU System by connecting stations through wormholes and syncing your factories, making them function as one.
Early access allowed you to plant your space boots, but this 1.0 update will expand your capabilities by introducing new station modules, missions, threats and technologies to expand and advance your stations like never before.
Outworld Station is out now in PC early access (Steam), and will be updated to version 1.0 on May 5th.
