In a surprising announcement at Day of the Devs, we just found out that N Plus Infinity Times Two is coming next year.
For many precision platforming began with Super Meat Boy, but my teenage years were spent obsessing over N+. It was the very first game I got all the Xbox achievements on, and that meant playing some of the fantastic multiplayer mode. If those fuzzy memories are anything to go off then this latest ninja platformer is one to watch, because it’s all about the multiplayer.
Check out the reveal trailer:
N Plus Infinity Times Two features an asymmetric co-op mode where you’ll work together to overcome ridiculous rockets and lasers, as well as versus modes that have already been described as friendship ending. There are some creative ways to ruin those friendships too, with races, time trial eliminations, and a team mode where you have to work together to hunt down enemy ninjas. These all sound fantastic, and will be made all the better with that perfect momentum based movement N+ and its video game cousins are known for.
“Announced today during Day of the Devs at Summer Game Fest via a stylish minimalist trailer, N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO has remixed the N series from the ground up with its unmistakable formula now perfected for virtual athletics on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 next year.

Master momentum as you dash across beautifully handcrafted minimalist levelscapes, avoiding obstacles and dodging deviously designed enemies. N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO hands would-be warriors infinite replayability and the highest level of competition yet in the N series, in this multi-layered multiplayer parkour platformer.”
I don’t normally get particularly hyped by multiplayer game announcements, but this looks like everything I’ve ever wanted in a party game. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long to find out when in 2027 N Plus Infinity Times Two is releasing, or I might explode like a ninja on a particularly hard stage.
N Plus Infinity Times Two is coming in 2027.
