Hot Wheels Infinite Rush announced, coming this September

More than 150 vehicles to collect.

Milestone and Mattel has announced Hot Wheels Infinite Rush during SGF, and it looks like the biggest Hot Wheels game to date.

The publisher says: “Set in dynamic, freely explorable environments designed in the signature scale and style of Hot Wheels™, players can launch into gravity-defying stunts and high-speed adventures beyond the iconic orange tracks.”

Check out the announcement trailer below, along with the key features.

  • Explore a Hot Wheels-Sized World – Race across four themed islands where players can sky-jump between environments, smash through obstacles, uncover hidden collectibles, and shape their own adventure through high-speed racing and free-roaming exploration.
  • High-Speed Arcade Racing – Drive 150+ vehicles across four distinct classes, each with unique handling and upgrades, as players build their ultimate “Rush Squad” and unlock cars ranging from bold Hot Wheels originals to vehicles from premium automotive brands such as Ferrari.
  • Competitive Multiplayer – Race online with full cross-play support or locally in split-screen for up to four players across competitive modes, leaderboards, and asynchronous challenges.
  • Create & Customize – Customize vehicles with the Sticker and Livery editors, now also featuring wheel customization , then build and share custom tracks with the enhanced track builder, which introduces a ground-snapping system that fully leverages the scale of the environments by allowing modules to be attached directly onto the ground. Players can also add virtual opponents to custom tracks by placing action markers that define the paths of their vehicles. With creations shareable across all platforms*, player-generated content adds endless opportunities for creativity, competition, and replay ability.

It’s worth noting that the Switch 2 version will not have cross-play support, and will also feature 6 competitors per race.

Hot Wheels Infinite Rush is coming to PC, XBOX, PS5, and Switch 2.
