Stupid Never Dies release window announced

Developer GPTrack50 has announced the release window for Stupid Never Dies, and it’s coming in Fall 2026, adding to a very busy end of the year.

The developer has a great pedigree, though. GPTRACK50 is made up of people who have worked on the Resident Evil series, Dragon’s Dogma, Devil May Cry, and more. So given that Stupid Never Dies is an action RPG, there’s hope it’ll be pretty damn good.

The team says it “offers a deeper look at the game’s progression systems, including Body Hack, which allows Davy to modify his body, as well as the first reveal of several boss characters”, and that “It provides a broader glimpse into the game’s signature Funky Zombie Action gameplay.” The first trailer is also below.

Stupid Never Dies is a 3D action RPG defined by its memorable characters and highly original art style. The newly released second trailer introduces the colorful cast of companions who support Davy throughout his journey.

Davy is not only considered the weakest among zombies—the lowest-ranked creatures in the monster world—but is also known as a complete coward. His goal is simple: to revive Julia, the frozen woman he fell in love with at first sight, and finally take her on a date.

As Davy’s feelings for Julia intertwine with the motivations of his eccentric companions, the story gradually unfolds into an adventure where they must confront a common enemy together.

The developer says of Stupid Never Dies: “Set in a monster-ruled otherworldly dungeon, Stupid Never Dies puts you in control of Davy, a timid zombie living at the very bottom of monster society. Defeat enemies, level up, and collect strange items to grow stronger on your quest to bring Julia, a frozen human girl, back to life.

Stupid Never Dies is coming to PC and PS5 in Fall 2026.
