Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar is full of lovely characters, and the delightfully-named Maple is no exception. One early quest, Flowering Beauty, tasks you with bringing her a set of flowers, and while it’s a simple task, it’s displayed in a slightly odd way which may have confused you like it did me. If you’re not sure which flowers to give her then read on.
Which flowers to give Maple
Firstly we should note that you can’t just give her wildflowers. She wants to create a decoration for the hotel and that’s far too prestigious an accommodation to be displaying wildflowers!
No, you’ll need to do one better than that. Looking at the icon on the quest menu you may think it’s a bouquet you need to create (like I did), however if you press Y then you’ll find out that there are specific flowers you need to give her, and in order to get them you’ll need to grow them first.
The easiest way to do this is pay Miguel a visit and buy whichever flower he’s hawking that season. In Spring it’s Baby Blues, just buy a set of 9 seeds and this will give you enough to donate to Maple while retaining plenty to sell at the bazaar too.
It’s worth completing this quest quickly, not only do you get in Maple’s good graces, but you’ll learn some tea seeds too! These are a multi-yield seed, and so particularly handy during the earlier part of the game.
