It’s a quiet week, for a change, so on the podcast this episode it’s time to shine a light on some hidden gems (so far) we’ve played in 2025.
We’re not talking exclusively about indies, though most are smaller games, as we also want to remind people Capcom’s Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess just came out on Switch 2 this year. But there’s plenty of games to chat about, with the likes of Into the Restless Ruins one we want to sing the praises of.
Of course, Xbox is in the news, with lots of job losses, so a brief chat about that takes place. Listener Question of the Week is about what games July has to offer, and surely… surely, Chris doesn’t pick Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game as his main game, right?
