Ready to feel old? It’s been ten years since the original ARK: Survival Evolved was available, and the mobile edition is getting a mission-based expansion to celebrate.
The mobile version is called ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition, and developer Grove Street Games (in association with Studio Wildcard) says that “this content drop brings the same rich world-building, exotic biomes, and survival gameplay as seen on PC and console—now optimized for on-the-go play.” ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition has been downloaded more than 6.1 million times across iOS and Android platforms, so it’s rather popular to say the least.
The team says: “In Genesis Part I, Survivors awaken inside a mysterious virtual simulation alongside their robotic companion HLN-A. To survive, players must complete a wide variety of story-driven missions that test combat, exploration, and strategy across deadly environments—from eerie bogs and fiery volcanoes to deep oceans and low-gravity lunar terrain. Along the way, they’ll encounter strange new creatures like magma-breathing Magmasaurs, giant sea turtles, and even space whales.”
In ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition, players are stranded in a harsh prehistoric world where they must hunt, harvest, craft, build, and tame over 150 dinosaurs and creatures. Whether playing solo or online, survivors will battle to endure the elements and uncover the secrets of the ARKs.
Elsewhere, the developer said: “To celebrate ARK’s 10 Year Anniversary all Keys, the in-game currency, packages are on sale for the very first time at 20% off. ARK fans who want the full experience have the option to purchase the ARK Subscription Pass that unlocks all current and future expansions, plus exclusive in-game bonuses including:
