Convergence Showcase

The indie game showcase that is Convergence has been confirmed to be happening a second time, with 2025’s event to take place on September 18th.

Once again the showcase will be supported by Fourth Floor. Last year’s event had a total of 43 games on show which included “world-first debuts from partners Kepler Interactive, Fireshine Games and Bandai Namco Studios Singapore.”

“I’m delighted to bring Convergence back for 2025,” said Dan Maher, Creative Director at Fourth Floor. “We were very happy with the audience in 2024, and the viewer feedback was excellent, but we want to make the show even more effective for indie developers, leveraging our deep relationships with content creators worldwide. Discovery is absolutely crucial for smaller titles, and we’re creating a platform that’s uniquely able to match authentic audiences with new games they’ll love, guided by the creators they’ve grown to trust.”

Following a smash hit debut last year, Convergence Showcase 2025 has evolved to put creators and their communities centre stage, and to bring featured games to an even larger and more engaged audience. Convergence Showcase 2025 will take place on September 18th, 2025, broadcast worldwide on YouTube, Twitch, BiliBili and Steam.

The inaugural Convergence Showcase brought together the passionate audiences of gaming content creators for a showcase of some of the most exciting new indie and double-A games, reaching an audience of over two million gamers across Twitch, YouTube, TikTok and BiliBili. Hosted by Dodger, ESO Danny and Wanderbots, along with a diverse range of special guests, Convergence 2024 featured exclusive announcements, news and gameplay from a total of 43 games, including world-first debuts from partners Kepler Interactive, Fireshine Games and Bandai Namco Studios Singapore.

The 2025 edition will maintain the show’s focus on bringing together passionate audiences from diverse creators and the most interesting new indie and AA games, while incorporating deeper community engagement and additional platforms to maximise impact for developers and publishers. The show’s content will be shaped and delivered by the content creators who build it, with extensive support from Fourth Floor. Details of hosts will be announced later in the year.
