Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has gone gold

A limited edition controller has also been announced.

Kojima Productions has announced that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has gone gold ahead of the June 26th release date for PlayStation 5.

Confirmed via BlueSky, the developer said:

Hideo Kojima is pictured on the accompanying pictures with a Death Stranding 2 Gold Master disc, as well as colouring in the left eye of a Daruma, and finally, a giant picture of the Death Stranding 2 development team. Going gold basically means the shipping version has been sent off for master, and that pending no disasters, will definitely release on the given date, without delays. Hurrah!

Elsewhere, PlayStation also announced a limited edition DualSense controller for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, with pre-orders opening on May 22nd, and coming on June 26th along with the game itself. The team says: “We worked closely with Kojima Productions on the controller design, customized with the insignia and motto of Drawbridge in vibrant orange.”
