Hold on to your butts! Hideo Kojima has not only revealed the release date for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, he’s also released one of the greatest video games trailers of all time. In the 10-minute long trailer, we got to see plenty of what is to come. While the story is still shrouded in mystery, it’s clear Kojima has got plenty in store for those eagerly awaiting its release.
So, the release date. Death Stranding 2 will be releasing on June 26 this year, and pre-orders go live March 17. It’s an exciting time to be a fan of DS, and there are so many awesome hints to the story and the setting. Huge humanoid monsters emerging from the sea. Night-time motorcycle chases…and was that actually Solid Snake?! Who knows. What we do know is it looks incredible, and we cannot wait to get our hands on it.
More details regarding the pre-orders were released on the official PlayStation blog. There are three different versions available to pre-ordder from March 17: Digital Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition. Here’s what is included in all three.
