Konami has announced that free-to-play football title eFootball has hit a new milestone of 950 million downloads achieved. To celebrate this, there’s some new campaigns, one of which includes Manchester United legends.
There are login bonuses (as always), but also special rewards, campaigns for in-game events, and of course the Manchester United legends.
Here’s the details from the press release:
- A club pack featuring Manchester United’s 11 and Big Time & Epic legends are now available: Users can earn a club pack featuring Manchester United’s starting 11 players. Additionally, distinguished legends of this historic club such as Big Time: George Best, Epic: Peter Schmeichel and Epic: Bryan Robson are now available to add to the squad.
- Chance to win up to 1,000 eFootball coins: During this campaign, simply logging in to the game rewards users with eFootball coins. Furthermore, progressing in the in-game events and earn special goal effects as well as tickets offering the chance to win up to 1,000 eFootball coins.
- The Official esports World Championships ‘eFootball™ Championship 2026’ In-game qualifiers to determine Manchester United’s representative have commenced: The online qualifiers for the Club Event ‘eFootball Championship 2026 Manchester United’ have now commenced. This event will determine a representative of Manchester United for the official esports World Championship ’eFootball Championship 2026’ which saw 36.42 million participants’ last season.
The ’eFootball Championship 2026’ comprises of two tournaments: the ’eFootball Championship 2026 Open’ which is available to all users and the ‘eFootball Championship 2026 Club Event’ which determines the No.1 fan of each official partner club. Top users advancing from these events compete aggressively for the title of ‘World’s Best eFootball player’ at the ‘eFootball Championship 2026 World Finals’ scheduled in the summer of 2026.
- Play on the newly reborn stage of ‘Spotify Camp Nou’ on eFootball mobile version: The newly renovated home stadium of FC Barcelona, ‘Spotify Camp Nou’ is now available in the mobile version eFootball from today. Home console and PC versions are scheduled to receive this in the next version update.
To grab the Spotify Camp Nou you need to download the data in the game. Go to the main “top” menu, then “extras”, then “Game Settings”, followed by “Download Data”, then finally “Download Stadium Data”.
eFootball is out now and free-to-play for PC, Mobile, and Consoles.
