CCP Games has been very busy lately, with multiple announcements regarding EVE Frontier, including the news of Founder Access: New Era launching this week.
Launching this Wednesday (June 11th), Founder Access: New Era for EVE Frontier will add new gameplay, and CCP Games says “it also marks the first public step in creating a visionary sci-fi survival experience.”
Founder Access: New Era opens EVE Frontier to the public, as it emerges from its closed alpha phase. For the first time, players are free to share gameplay footage, impressions, and experiences without any restrictions, ushering in a new, fully public phase of development. To celebrate the announcement, CCP Games unveiled a new trailer, “The Ancient Dark”. Set in the shadow of forgotten ruins and the scars of eons-old wars, it chronicles the cycle of death and rebirth that binds all Riders – each caught in an endless struggle for survival within a cruel and boundless galaxy.
Founder Access: New Era also kicks off a brand-new seasonal progression system for EVE Frontier called Cycles. The first Cycle, Promised Lands, starts on 11 June. Players will gain Grace for completing in-game missions and activities, rising to the top of each Cycle Leaderboard alongside their Tribe. As Founder Access: New Era continues, Cycles will continue to introduce new missions, objectives and content.
But there’s more, as EVE Frontier also got a “high level overview” of the game during the PC Gaming Show.
That’s somehow still not all, though.
During the Future Games Show 2025, we got a look at the “Smart Assemblies” feature. This is “a powerful new feature that lets players mod Smart Structures (such as bases and stargates) and build custom tools directly into EVE Frontier”, says the developer.

There’s three different versions of the game, including Awakened ($39.99), Initiated ($69.99), and Ascended ($99.99), which get you various different bonuses, including things like 72 hours early start at launch, name reservation, an premium post-launch subscription time.
