FromSoftware has announced a brand new game coming to Nintendo Switch 2 called The Duskbloods, featuring vampires, monsters, and the familiar gothic vibe the developer is known for. While little else is revealed in the trailer, it looks cool as hell. It comes alongside a barrage of announcements during today’s Nintendo Switch 2 Direct. Along with The Duskbloods, Donkey Kong Bananza, Kirby Air Riders, and Mario Kart World were all shown off.

Anyway, the trailer for The Duskbloods gave a few ideas of what players would be doing when it launches.
It starts off with a man sitting in a chair. The soft voice of a woman telling him she will give him her blood and her life. “Turn a wheel and transport him to a night of moonlight. To humanities very dusk.” The FromSoftware logo appears, followed by a gothic city filled with grand cathedrals and…trains. There are some weird automatons, a moon with a weird-as-hell face and wings. You are a vampire, and we see the character sucking the blood of a victim before using guns and swords alongside a woman with a huge axe to fight some typical FromSoft monstrosities.
Although no release date was announced, we do know it is coming next year, at least giving the Nintendo Switch 2 time to breathe. It hasn’t been cleared yet whether it is Switch 2 exclusive or not, but if the information becomes available, we’ll let you know.
